Bank of China Releases IPAD App for Personal Online Banking

Bank of China released a brand new version of IPAD App for online banking, which integrates functions such as account overview, transfer & remittance, credit card service, electronic payment, settings, operation record query, etc., providing personalized interactive experience for its users.
Digging into the operational features of mobile terminals, the BOC IPAD App supports multitask operations like clicking, dragging, sliding, and multi-touch. Moreover, it gives feedback on the dynamics of operation like flickering, pop-up, and so on, offering the user a pleasant, novel interactive experience. In addition, the BOC IPAD App has built-in information on promotions, ATM query, interest rates on loans and deposits, exchange rates, wealth management products, fund net value, etc., updating the user without the need of logging onto the online banking website. Furthermore, the BOC IPAD App also features individualized mobile financial services by allowing users to upload their own profile pictures, customize the welcome messages and favourite functions.
The IPAD App adopts a “Pool” structure, bringing financial services from the “Cloud” into the “Pool” that utilizes a local service system, thus maximally reducing the communication time and accelerating the process of each task. Moreover, the “Pool” structure supports componentized applications, giving users the option of updating only certain pages when a new version is available. In this way, both the updating time and network traffic are reduced.
Apart from the IPAD App, BOC has also launched convenient e-banking services for personal clients, including virtual card services, online opening of current/deposit accounts, social insurance and housing provident fund information, etc. For its corporate clients, BOC has also rolled out expedite collection service and cross-border inward remittance confirmation and declaration service; for its corporate online banking, BOC has optimized account management, reconciliation, investment and wealth management, cross-border remittance, expedite payment service, asset trusteeship and cash management services.
