OREANDA-NEWS. March 07, 2013. Vice Prime Minister Oleksandr Vilkul set the task to the Ministry of Infrastructure Ukraine to implement additional measures to control the traffic safety in transportation. This was discussed during the board of the Ministry of Infrastructure with the participation of the Minister Volodymyr Kozak, heads of departments and enterprises.

"The Ministry of Infrastructure should strengthen the control over compliance of the rules of traffic safety, including flying of private aircraft, use of small vessels," said Oleksandr Vilkul.

Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine instructed the Ministry of Infrastructure and subordinate enterprises to develop regulations on safety, flight, navigation, including: the Sectoral Program for Navigation Safety for 2013-2015 years, the Aviation Safety Program for 2013-2015 years, Sectoral Program of Traffic Safety in Road Transport for 2013-2015 years.

"Special attention will also be paid to the railway crossing. The work on installation of alarm on crossing also will be continued," Oleksandr Vilkul said.

He stressed that the safety and comfort of passengers and other road users is the priority of the development and functioning of the transport industry.
