OREANDA-NEWS. March 07, 2013. Siauliu bankas resumes rendering the portion of services to the former Ukio bankas‘ clients – the first six outlets of Ukio bankas in Kaunas, Vilnius, Klaipeda, Alytus and Ukmerge  will be opened tomorrow at noon.

The scope of financial services rendered in the former outlets of Ukio bankas where Siauliu bankas resumes client servicing  will be gradually expended. In the beginning the banking services will be provided only to the residents for a while – the private persons whose declared place of residence is Lithuania as well as undertakings registered in Lithuania.

In the former outlets of Ukio bankas which would renew their activities only the private customers will be entitled to the following:

execution of payments in litas and euros to the banks registered in Lithuanian and abroad (without currency exchange transactions);

placement or withdrawal of cash in litas and euros (without currency exchange transactions) – the cash transactions will be temporary subject to the limit of LTL 20 thou (or equivalent in euros) per day;

taking advantage of the deposit servicing.

Services via the Internet banking „Eta bankas“
Already from tomorrow  the former clients of Ukio bankas will be enabled to use the Internet banking services. The private and corporate customers will be able using the following services through the „Eta bankas“:

execution of payments in litas and euros to the banks registered in Lithuanian and abroad (without currency exchange transactions);

settlement of utility bills and fees and payments for other services;

disposing their funds (deposits, bank accounts).

Deposits
The insured time deposits of the former clients of Ukio bankas will be administrated by Siauliu bankas - until the end of the maturity they shall be subject to the same conditions and interest which were fixed by Ukio bankas. Therefore, if  not forced by any urgent matters, the depositors  do not have to hurry the former outlets of Ukio bankas which resumed the provision of services or take any other actions on the matter. Whereas Siauliu bankas would apply the deposit interest rates valid in Siauliu bankas to the deposits with the foreseen automatic extension.

Credit instalments
Siauliu bankas has taken over the former clients of Ukio bankas having credit liabilities  - since March 5, 2013 they will be able seeing their accounts and credit balances on the e-banking system „Eta bankas“ – the borrowers will be further obliged to fulfil their liabilities under the defined schedules  paying instalments into their credit accounts as they used to do prior to moratorium declared to Ukio bankas.

Individual safes
.Private and corporate customers that took advantage of the individual safe service will be able further using this service in the former outlets of Ukio bankas which are going to be re-opened by Ukio bankas. The clients who rented the individual safes in the Ukio bankas‘ outlets that will not be re-opened temporary cannot terminate the agreements of rent of individual safes and take back the property kept therein. We shall provide additional information regarding servicing of the individual safes.

Special offers
We kindly remind that at thr moment the former clients of Ukio bankas can take advatage of the special offers z the seniors who used to receive their pensions to the former accounts with Ukio bankas, Siauliu bankas provides the interest-free „pension advance“ up to LTL 300  prior to April 1, 2013 while the clients who used the payment cards issued by Ukio bankas can acquire the free payment cards „Visa Electron“ and „Maestro“ of Siauliu bankas by March 12, 2013.
