William Wilson Ranked Second in Wall Street Journal Ranking
OREANDA-NEWS. William Wilson, Senior Research Fellow at the SKOLKOVO business school – Ernst & Young Institute for Emerging Market Studies (IEMS), has come in second in the Wall Street Journal’s “Top 50 business economists in the West” ranking.
Leading economists are being included in the list based on the decision by the Wall Street Journal’s special committee. They participate in quarterly and annual forecasting surveys of the US economy. The winner is the expert whose forecast is the closest to the actual results.
William Wilson was invited to the group in 2001. He served as the Director of Economic Research at the National Bank of Kuwait and as the Chief Economist for Ernst & Young North America. He also was the Vice President and Senior Economist for Comerica Bank and co-founded a consulting firm that facilitated trade and investment between the US and India. Dr. Wilson received his PhD in Economics from Purdue University.
