OREANDA-NEWS. Alain Remi, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of French Republic to Ukraine, visited ANTONOV Company. Dmytro Kiva, President – General Designer of ANTONOV Company, Academician of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, represented to Ambassador and persons, accompanied him, modern programmes of the enterprise and a number of “know-hows” used when designing ANTONOV airplanes. The high guests visited assembly shops and test laboratories. They highly appreciated ample opportunities on development of new ANs, as well as emphasized a considerable progress in a sphere of arrangement of after-sale support. Practice of training of the AN-148 crews at the newest complex simulator of D level developed and built by ANTONOV Company specialists was also approved.

In conclusion of the visit His Excellency Mr. Remi noted that many-years fruitful cooperation links ANTONOV Company and enterprises of aviation branch of France. A number of French companies are engaged into programme of the AN-148 and AN-158 regional jets family. He said that joint realization of aviation projects facilitates increase of technologic level of our states.
