OREANDA-NEWS. March 06, 2013. Dmitry Romaev has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of NOMOS-BANK. In this capacity Dmitry will manage the Bank’s operations and coordinate its integration into Otkritie Financial Corporation whilst continuing to grow NOMOS’ core business divisions of corporate, retail, and private banking.

In February 2013, Dmitry’s candidature as NOMOS-BANK’s CEO and a member of the Management Board was proposed to the Central Bank of Russia and is now awaiting approval. Dmitry will also retain his roles as First Deputy Chairman of Otkritie’s Management Board and Otkritie’s Chief Financial Officer.

<br/> Dmitry Romaev succeeds Dmitry Sokolov who has been NOMOS-BANK’s CEO since November 2012, and from 2005 to 2012 was President and Management Board Chairman.

Dmitry Romaev
Dmitry joined Otkritie Financial Corporation in 2011 after a year in charge of external borrowings at Sberbank. Previously from 2008 to 2010, he held the position of CFO at Otkritie Investment Bank JSC. From 2007 to 2008, he held various positions at KIT Finance Group, culminating as CFO of KIT Finance Investment Bank. Prior to that from 2004 to 2007, Dmitry worked his way up from his role as Head of Corporate Lending to become Head of International Operations at Bank Petrocommerce.
