OREANDA-NEWS. March 05, 2013. Agro-enterprise "LAN" (Kharkiv oblast, Barvinkivskyi district) got two loans from MEGABANK to acquire agricultural equipment (a self-propelled sprayer) and for sowing campaign.

According to the owner of the enterprise, Alexander Kurochkin, "LAN" has been working since 2003 and specializes in grain and industrial crops and growing pigs. The enterprise uses 3 268.8 hectares of land in its activities. The largest share in a sowing structure of the enterprise is winter wheat and sunflower. The market for sale the agricultural products is in Kharkiv and Kharkiv region.

Besides crop production the enterprise actively develops livestock farming. During 2010-2012 years it was held reconstruction of pig farms by the Danish technology on the farm. The implemented equipment meets international standards. As of today the enterprise has 2488 heads livestock and six horses.

According to O. Kurochkin, "LAN" has been cooperating with MEGABANK for 6 years. Each year the enterprise turns to the bank for loan funds. "We are going to continue cooperation with MEGABANK because for us this bank is a truly reliable partner and support which understands our needs to develop", he stressed.

German-Ukrainian Fund (GUF): program to support micro, small and medium sized businesses for EUR 5 mln.;

European Fund of South-Eastern Europe (EFSE): 4 programs to support micro, small and medium sized businesses for USD 27 mln., including support program for agricultural businesses – USD 12 mln.;

WorldBusiness Capital, Inc. under security of OPIC: program to support small and medium sized businesses for USD 10 mln.;

Bank of Development of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (Financierings-Maatschappij vооr Ontwikkelingslanden NV – FMO): program to support small and medium sized businesses for USD 15 mln.;

GREEN FOR GROWTH FUND, SOUTHEAST EUROPE S.A.: funding program for investments in energy efficiency and renewable energy for USD 10 million;
