OREANDA-NEWS. SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev received the delegation led by Tim Dodson, vice president of Statoil, on March 1. Mr. Abdullayev spoke about long-term cooperation relations between SOCAR and Statoil and expressed confidence in expansion of these relations in future.

Mentioning the energy projects, SOCAR President informed on establishment and successful operation of oil and gas pipeline systems allowing the transportation of oil and gas produced from the Caspian basin to the world markets by diversified routes. It was also mentioned that great achievements gained within Shah Deniz, Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli projects, as well as from the fields independently operated by SOCAR.

In turn, Mr. Dodson focused on the prospects of his company’s participation in new projects in Azerbaijan and expressed a hope for the success of future cooperation with SOCAR.

The sides exchanged views on current and prospective issues.
