OREANDA-NEWS. The Government of Japan intends to develop production of automotive components and assemblies in Siberia and the Russian Far East, by creating new enterprises. In the future it is planned to export the manufactured products to the factories in Europe. 

 Currently, the region has only one factory producing Japanese cars - a joint venture of Russian "Sollers" and the Japanese "Mitsui", which produces cars of Mazda and Toyota.
