OREANDA-NEWS. March 1, the Academy of Financial Management held a grand opening of the Academy’s innovated classrooms as part of the Ukrainian-Dutch international project on skill improvement of public finance civil servants in Ukraine.

It should be noted that, last year, within the Project, the Academy implemented a number of efforts to improve skills of public finance civil servants. The training involved leading experts of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, Academy of Financial Management and other science and education institutions and international experts, which enabled to efficiently joint theory and practice and make point of developing the area of public finances.

Ministry of Finance officials accepted the opinion that involving international practice of public finance is an essential part of the socio-economic development. It was also observed that it is due to the use of best practice innovative and efficient approaches that public finances of Ukraine will improve.

Dutch and Ukrainian counterparts expressed their looking forward to further fruitful cooperation saying that implementing this Project is an essential step towards the enhancement of professional links between Ukraine and the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
