OREANDA-NEWS. March 01, 2013. On the basis of the partnership agreement a joint project of CJS "FINCA MCC" and the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University to improve the financial literacy of students was launched.

The microfinance company and KRSU have agreed on the development of the "Managing personal finances" subject. The course will be developed and introduced into the curriculum, and will be available for all the university students. To date the working group of teachers of KRSU and of representatives of FINCA was defined as well as the list of the main topics that will be included into the curriculum was prepared.

The main work on developing the content of the course of lectures will be done by the university on the basis of available FINCA training materials on financial literacy. Thus, FINCA implementing a large-scale project to improve the financial literacy of the population begins to cover and implement components of the project, which aims at education of students.
