OREANDA-NEWS. During the period of 20 to 24 February, 2013, within the framework of the official visit of Mr. Dmitry Medvedev, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, the delegation of the Russian FCS, headed by Mr. Vladimir Malinin, First Deputy of Russian FCS Head, visited the Republic of Cuba.

On 22 February, 2013, the Federal Customs Service of Russia and Ministry of Foreign Trade and Investment of Cuba signed Protocol on collaboration, information exchange and mutual assistance within the context of the Unified System of Tariff Preferences of the Customs Union.

The Protocol will contribute to simplification of customs procedures, as well as the procedure of granting of customs preferences in regard to the number of goods, imported from Cuba.
