OREANDA-NEWS. February 28, 2013. Sergey Krjukov, CEO SME Bank (Vnesheconombank Group) visited the South African Republic as a member of Vnesheconombank’s delegation. The visit was aimed at exchange of experience in area of SME lending support in the SAR andRussia. The delegation met with representatives of The Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA) and SEDA Platinum Incubator.

Russian delegation visited New Empowerment Fund were the participants familiarized with the activities of specialized organizations supporting enterprises established by indigenous population.

Finally the delegation visited Industrial Development Corporation that supports local entrepreneurs via South-African commercial banks, non-bank FIs and directly. Currently SME Bank contemplates a framework agreement with SEFA which will enable both countries to exchange experience in the area of SME support and social entrepreneurship.
