OREANDA-NEWS. PJSC EMAlliance, a member of the biggest Russian power plant engineering concern Power Machines, has been honored with a Letter of Gratitude (has received a positive response) from JSC VO Technopromexport for supply of two Heat Recovery Steam Generators. The HRSGs for PGU-450 Power Unit of Urengoyskaya GRES manufactured by PJSC EMAlliance have passed acceptance tests, complex trial operation and have been put into operation.

The Contract for the design, manufacture and supply of the equipment for Urengoyskaya GRES (at present – JSC INTER RAO Electrogeneratsiya) was signed with JSC OGK-1, afterwards the rights to claim and liabilities under the Contract were transfer to JSC VO Technopromexport. According to the terms and conditions thereof EMAlliance has manufactured and supplied two HRSGs for PGU-450, a new Combined Cycle Plant. The supply was performed in time, according to the terms and conditions of the Contract. HRSGs were manufactured in large modules, and this has made it possible to reduce significantly the time required for the equipment erection in situ on site.

The works on HRSG design were performed by the specialists of PJSC Engineering Center EMAlliance – BSDB BP (Barnaul). The manufacturing of the main equipment was concentrated at the Boiler-Making Works Krasny Kotelshchik – the main manufacturing facility of the company.

All the works under this Project were performed in the frames of the License Agreement between PJSC EMAlliance and NOOTER/ERIKSEN, INC (USA). The HRSGs were designed with application of the advanced technological solutions, that considerably reduce the structure specific quantity of metal and increase the maintainability of the equipment.
