OREANDA-NEWS. JSC "Volgogradneftemash", being the part of "SGM" Group of companies, got the order for manufacturing and delivery of heavy equipment for Kazachya compressor station that is building up within the Krasnodar Territory for large-scaled South Stream project, implemented by JSC Gazprom.

The order consists of ten adsorbers. The weight of one unit without lining is 180 tons, casing length is 10 meters, internal diameter is 4.6 meters. The total weight of equipment estimates as more than 2000 tons. It will be produced in compliance with the ASME Code and will include U2 Code Certification Stamp application.

For the first time to manufacture these adsorbers the Manganese-Molybdenum-Nickel steel (known to be high-strength steel) will be used by "Volgogradneftemash". Internal surface of the units will be covered by special refractory coating. Shotcreting will be done on a factory basis.

Adsorbers will be delivered to the Krasnodar Territory by means of road and water transport in spring of next year.
