OREANDA-NEWS. Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 has achieved first place (with a “Good” grade) in the Security Suites section of a comparison test organized by the ComputerBild magazine. This is the fifth year running in which Kaspersky Internet Security has emerged as ComputerBild’s winner. Kaspersky Lab’s security software also came out top in the magazine’s prize-performance comparison. For its 1/2013 issue, ComputerBild subjected six fee-based security suites to comprehensive testing. Criteria included overall protection against malware protection against threats on social networks, threats in online banking, and protection against hacker attacks. The testers also evaluated the programs’ usability and resource footprints.

Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 performed particularly well in the core tasks required of good protective software: identifying and destroying malware. Here, the Kaspersky Lab software left its competitors standing. The testers also commented positively on the fact that, despite its comprehensive protection functions, Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 is both user- and resource-friendly.
