OREANDA-NEWS. UTair Aviation announces the launch of a new flight between St. Petersburg and Budapest starting April 28, 2013. UTair will be the only Russian carrier that destination.

Flights will be performed twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays with Boeing 737-500 aircraft with Economy and Business class configurations.

Departure from Pulkovo Airport in St. Petersburg is at 12:20 and departure from Budapest International Airport at 14.40, all times local. Passengers should be aware that this timetable is still subject to change. Estimated flight time is 2 hour and 40 minutes.

Performance results provided by Pulkovo Airport for 2012 confirmed that UTair Airlines was the most punctual airline operating from the airport. UTair achieved a punctuality performance quotient of approximately 90% in consideration of international standards which considers flights to be on-time if they depart within 15 minutes of the published timetable. The volume of UTair passenger traffic from the St. Petersburg has increased 23% over the past year and has reached a total in excess of 400,000 passengers annually. The number of takeoffs and landings totaled more than 5,000. From Pulkovo Airport UTair Airlines operates regular flights to Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Surgut, Noyabrsk, Syktyvkar, Khanty-Mansiysk, Naryan-Mar.

UTair Aviation ranks among the top three Russian airlines. In 2012 UTair aircraft transported 8,582,681 passengers. The airline operates more than 200 fixed wing aircraft and performs flights to 110 destinations in Russia and aboard. The airline maintains its central hub at Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow, from which it performs 100 flights daily.
