OREANDA-NEWS. Another Airbus 320, with a total seating capacity of 156, joined the Ural Airlines fleet. The aircraft arrived in Ekaterinburg from Japan where a domestic carrier has been operating it for 5 years. The new airplane is the first one to have been purchased on operating leasing terms this year. Thus, the total number of aircraft in the Ural Airlines fleet is now 26 (17 A320s and 9 A321s); the airline is planning to receive 5 more airplanes in 2013.

Our reminder: Ural Airlines started its aircraft fleet upgrading program in 2006 and has been purchasing new airplanes every year. European Airbus aircraft have proven to be highly efficient and convenient for mid-range flights. Airplanes of the Airbus A320/321 family are the most spacious airplanes among narrow-bodied aircraft; in addition thereto, they are considered to be among the best ones in terms of cabin noise insulation and lighting.
