OREANDA-NEWS. Transaero Airlines carries on with preparatory work on acquisition of four Airbus A380 aircraft to be delivered to the airline from 2015 to 2018.

The first two A380 aircraft are to join Transaero’s fleet in 2015 and 2016 under financial leasing conditions. In accordance with the Agreement of April 2012 VEB-Leasing will act as the organizer and supervisor of the project on financing the acquisition of four Airbus A380 aircraft by the airline.

The financial leasing scheme for acquisition of the third and the fourth A380 aircraft to be delivered in 2017 and 2018 will be determined later.

Currently Transaero and Airbus are finalizing passenger seating layout and technical specification of the aircraft to be delivered.

Transaero expects that operating A380 will provide for further enhancement of the airline’s quality of services and performance efficiency on long-haul routes.

Transaero plans to operate A380s on the routes to destinations in the SEA, Northern America, the Caribbean and Middle East.
