OREANDA-NEWS. February 27, 2013. CLP Power Hong Kong Limited (CLP Power) launched the one - off Community Care Subsidy last December aimed at helping alleviate tariff pressure of the grassroots families in its service area.

CLP will offer each approved eligible household a subsidy of HKD300. The company expects up to 30,000 families to benefit from the subsidy programme.

Beneficiaries and successful applicants under Categories I or III of “Subsidy for Low - income Persons who are Inadequately Housed” under the Government’s Community Care Fund and reside  in CLP’s supply area can apply for the CLP Community Care Subsidy. Application period will run from 25 February to 15 June 2013. Application forms for the subsidy are available at 30 community services centres. Each approved application will be offered a one -
off subsidy of  HKD300 from CLP. Programme information will be available on CLP website:
