OREANDA-NEWS. In February Perm Engine Company (included into "United Engine Building Corporation") has completed the shipment of four GTU-12P gas turbine plants for "Kubanskaya" compressor station of "South Corridor" pipeline system.

The first stage of "South Corridor" project realization  (terrestrial part of "South Stream" strategic pipeline) presupposes the erection of "CS "Pisarevka" (Voronezh region) - CS "Russkaya" (Krasnodar region) gas transport system and bridge from CS "Kubanskaya" to CS "Korenovskaya", and also reconstruction of existent corridor "Petrovsk - Pisarevka". On this part of the pipeline four of six compressor stations will be equipped with gas turbine plants of 12 MW unit capacity manufactured by PMZ.

GTU-12P gas turbine plant developed by the designers of OJSC "Aviadvigatel" is intended for driving of centrifugal supercharger of natural gas as part of  GPA-12 "Ural" modular gas compressor unit manufactured by LLC "Iskra-Turbogas" (developer OJSC "RPA "Iskra", Perm).

Moreover, today OJSC "Perm Engine Company" is executing contracts for production and supply of three sets of GTU-25P plants for CS "Korenovskaya" and three GTU-25P plants for CS "Kazachya".

Furnishing of "South Corridor" gas transport network sites is a new level of cooperation between  OJSC "Perm Engine Company" and OJSC "Gazprom" which successfully lasts for more than 20 years.
