OREANDA-NEWS. According to the results of the XIII All-Russian “The Engineer of the Year 2012” competition NPO Saturn employees became the prizewinners.

In the category “Professional Engineers” the title “Professional Engineer of Russia” was awarded to Vyacheslav Bushmanov, deputy chief designer for gas-turbine engines in-service support and to Maxim Burov, chief designer of prospective products – head of design department. In the category “Engineering Art of the Young” the diplomas “Winner of the first round of the All-Russian “Engineer of the Year” competition went to Maxim Lebedev, 1st-category design engineer, Andrey Novikov, 2nd-category design engineer and to Anastasiya Krundaeva, 2nd-category design engineer.

According to the results of the second round of the competition, in the category “Professional Engineers” the prizewinner title was awarded to Andrey Potkin, deputy head of turbines design department for calculations. In the category “Engineering Art of the Young” Sergey Kovalev, senior design engineer became the winner.

The ceremony of presenting the certificates, insignia, memorable medals and diplomas took place at the Moscow-based “Hall of Engineering Fame”.

The XIII All-Russian “The Engineer of the Year 2012” competition was organized by the Russian Union of Scientific and Engineering Non-Profit Organizations, the International Union of Scientific and Engineering Non-Profit Organizations, the A.M. Prokhorov Academy of Engineering Sciences, the International Non-Profit Fund for Facilitation the Scientific and Technical Progress under the auspices of the Government of the Russian Federation. The results of every competition are drawn at the beginning of the following year.
