OREANDA-NEWS. February 25, 2013. The Government has adopted a resolution dated on 20.2.2013 on Amendments to the Regulation of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated on October 8, 2012 № 988 (On the Order regarding the use of funds allocated from the state budget to support the construction of coal and peat mining enterprises, their technological upgrading and implementation of the program of renovation of mining equipment).

Resolution was adopted in the framework of the Law of Ukraine "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2013" adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on December 6, 2012.

The adoption of this government document will allow directing funds to areas with an aim to continue construction of objects, which gradually introducing into operation in next years will provide increasing of production of coal and peat or maintain the existing production capacity, improving safety, improving underground transport. And also execute a program to introduce new ranks and objectives of coking and thermal coal, save jobs, improve the social climate in the mining groups.
