OREANDA-NEWS. February 25, 2013. Eurasia Insurance Company is considering its participation in the reinsurance programme of the leading chemical company, which has the second largest sales in the world - Dow Chemical Company, USA.

Dow Chemical manufactures industrial, household and agricultural chemicals, plastics, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, military, focusing mainly on the semi to other industries, not the end-consumer products.

According to the project of reinsurance contract the property interests of the company, including business interruption risk from earthquakes, floods, are covered. Insurance amount is limited to USD1m for each insured event.
