OREANDA-NEWS. The Agreement was signed after many years of successful application of 1C software products at KAMAZ’s enterprises in order to solve management problems at a new technical and methodological level with the help of a comprehensive information system. The development and implementation of the computer-aided management and accounting system at the largest automobile enterprise of the Russian Federation includes a number of projects realized on the basis of up-to-date software products of the system 1C:Enterprise (1C:Manufacturing Enterprise Management, 1C:Consolidation, 1C:Vehicle and Fleet Management, etc.).

Today’s information system implemented by OJSC KAMAZ’s experts and their partners from OOO Intelkom (Production Competence Center of 1C Company in Kazan) on the platform 1C:Enterprise 8 performs the following functions:
Management and production accounting, supporting Production System KAMAZ as regards robot control. The system enables to track a chain from an order of each component to its installation on a certain vehicle. Vehicle specifications are taken into account (including replacement of components by analogs). The system is used at OJSC KAMAZ’s Scientific and Development Center.
Sales management. The system embraces the whole business process: from pre-contract preparations and ordering to fulfillment of an order and calculation of bonuses for dealers. It helps to solve difficult problems of mutual settlement of accounts, including leasing, commission, combined schemes, etc. There is a cloud-based system of service and warranty management for all dealers.
Special-purpose vehicle maintenance management. The system controls maintenance of military equipment on the whole territory of the Russian Federation. 57 automobile service centers work in the system online.
Accounting and tax bookkeeping, financial reporting according to international standards. The system is introduced at production units: OJSC KAMAZ (Automobile Plant, Kama Press and Stamping Plant, Engine Plant, Scientific and Technical Center, etc.), OOO PZhDT, ZAO Remdiesel, OAO KAMAZ-Energo, KAMAZ F&T CO Inc., ZAO FTC KAMAZ, OOO Avtozapchast KAMAZ.
Cash management. The system is used at OOO Avtozapchast KAMAZ, KAMAZ FINANCE AND TRADING COMPANY Incorporated. Other production enterprises are currently adopting it too.
Contract management. The system ensures online contract agreement processes, and after that the execution of terms of transactions is automatically controlled in the accounting system. The system is used by ZAO Foreign Trade Company KAMAZ.
Vehicle control and satellite monitoring of moving objects. The system ensures planning, monitoring, operation control, calculation of prime costs and profitability of vehicle operation. Satellite monitoring is fully integrated into the 1C system. The system is introduced at OJSC KAMAZ’s logistic and R&D centers.
Consolidation of data for accounting and management at the enterprises of KAMAZ Group. The system enables the company to control all subsidiaries, consolidate, process and analyze their financial statements, realize a multistep process of consolidation. The system is adopted by more than 150 legal entities.

At the beginning of February 2013, 7,422 workplaces in all used the system 1C:Enterprise 8 at KAMAZ’s companies. The system helped reduce transaction costs, optimize many business processes of management and accounting, reduce labour intensity and enhance efficiency of regulated and management accounting.

The development strategy of KAMAZ Group presupposes continuous improvement in the IT sphere, including the use of the latest software versions offered by recognized developers. One of the key automation tasks of KAMAZ Group is to develop an integrated information system covering all main business processes.

Within the framework of the Agreement, the parties plan to:
Cooperate in order to build and develop efficient management systems for KAMAZ Group using 1C:Enterprise products, reduce costs and technological risks when adopting such systems with the help of 1C Company’s know-how.
Share experience and solutions to introduce software products of 1C Company in mechanical engineering.
Automate the production process with the use of a new software product – 1C:MES Manufacturing Execution System – at OJSC KAMAZ’s Scientific and Development Center, develop a standard program on the basis of this project to distribute it in all production units of KAMAZ Group.

The signed Agreement is the result of cooperation between the leading Russian developer of enterprise management software and the largest Russian truck producer.
