OREANDA-NEWS. As it became known to "Ukrautoprom", Russia and Belarus have reached a basic agreement regarding the conditions of uniting of the CIS biggest producers of commercial vehicles MAZ and KAMAZ in the holding "Rosbelavto" on an equal basis. Both sides agreed to evaluate their businesses and share in them. 

 It is to be recalled that the state corporation "Russian Technologies" back in 2010 had made a proposal to combine the two manufacturers of heavy trucks.

 It is expected that MAZ and KAMAZ can join in the holding "Rosbelavto" in the first half of this year.
