OREANDA-NEWS. February 21, 2013. Agricultural Bank of China Limited (ABC) signed a custody contract with National Council for Social Security Fund, becoming a custodian of National Social Security Fund, reported the press-centre of ABC.

It is learned that ABC is one of the earliest commercial banks that started custody business in China in 1998. Over more than the sofundtion to the ten years of business development, it matained the record of “zero error” in various custody services and duly fulfilled its responsibilities as a custodian.

Having effectively safeguarded the rights and interests of assets owners, ABC won wide recognition from supervisors, customers and the public.

As at the end of 2012, assets under ABC custody approached RMB3 trillion, ranking second on the market. Among them, insurance assets under ABC custody ranked first in the industry.
