OREANDA-NEWS. February 21, 2013. The Government has adopted decree "On privatization of the fuel and energy complex enterprises". Document adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers, adopted pursuant to the National Action Plan for 2012 to implement economic reforms for 2010-2014 "Prosperous society, competitive economy, effective government".

The Decree allows taking a decision on the privatization of six enterprises of fuel and energy complex. In particular, it concerns the state shares of PJSC "Khmelnytskoblenergo" PJSC "Mykolaivoblenergo", JSC "Ternopiloblenergo", SC "Zaporozhyaoblenergo" AK "Kharkivoblenergo", JSC "Cherkasyoblenergo." The decision of the Government will privatize the state-owned shares of these companies on competitive basis and provide the cash flow to the State Budget of Ukraine.

Privatization shares will attract energy providers in the energy sector of private investors that will allow for the reconstruction and upgrading of equipment businesses. As a consequence, it has to guarantee stable operation united energy system of Ukraine.
