OREANDA-NEWS. February 21, 2013. The Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in the Primorie Region (Primorie OFAS Russia) exposed collusion between “Primoravtotrans” OJSC and the Association of International Automobile Carriers (ASMAP), reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.  

Earlier some entrepreneurs reported to the antimonopoly body about the facts of delaying and failure to allow vehicles owned by them (non-route coaches) to pass to “Pogranichny” checkpoint for crossing the State Border to China.

Dispatches of “Primoravtotrans” OJSC prevented access to “Pogranichny” checkpoint. Dispatches were selling tickets on behalf of “Primoravtotrans” OJSC and “PRIMORIE” Motor Carrier” Ltd. for “Pogranichny – Suifenhe” coach route.

On the basis of the agreement with ASMAP, the motor carrier prevented access to the checkpoint. Upon ASMAP consent, the company regulated and controlled traffic of passenger buses at the entry to “Pogranichny” checkpoint.

Primorie OFAS Russia found that “Primoravtotrans” OJSC and ASMAP violated Part 4 Article 11 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”.

OFAS issued determinations to “Primoravtotrans” OJSC and ASMAP to stop violating the antimonopoly law. OFAS will also initiate administrative cases against the organizations.
