OREANDA-NEWS. February 21, 2013. The Head of the Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in the Krasnoyarsk region, Valery Zakharov, and the Head of FAS Department for Control over Electric Power Industry, Vitaly Korolyov addressed the X Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.  

At the Round Tables on the Road Map for developing competition on the regional and inter-regional levels, they discussed the issues of attracting investments to the electric power industry and increasing energy efficiency the Russian economy.

“The working sessions focused mainly on implementing the strategic areas of competition policy and improving regulation of the electric power industry. The Forum participants not only outlined the problems that must be resolved by also put forward several necessary measures. In particular, state-by-stage termination of cross-subsidies, increased transparency of development and control over investment programmes of electric grid companies as well as some measures towards improving the situation with heat supply”, summed up Vitaly Korolyov.
