OREANDA-NEWS. February 21, 2013. A session on the issues of preparation for the international specialized exhibition EXPO-2017 under the chairmanship of Kazakh Prime MinisterSerik Akhmetov was held in the Ukimet Uyi.

The session discussed the main aspects of the National Plan for the preparation of EXPO-2017, in particular, the issues of development of the registration dossier, cooperation with the office of the International Exhibitions Bureau, as well as the organization of the competition for the best architectural solution for the construction of facilities and development of the territory of EXPO-2017.

Concluding the meeting, Akhmetov stressed the importance of responsible approach to the goals and objectives, and stressed that "the implementation of the National Plan for the preparation of the exhibition is under special control of the Head of State, and the President’s instructions should be implemented in a timely and cost-effective manner."
