OREANDA-NEWS. The main topics for discussion at the meeting were completion of the commissioning stages and overall status of the preparation for start-up of Unit 10. Also, the construction progress of Units 20 and 30 was discussed. As a result of the meeting, a number of decisions were made as regards to timely completion of the Plant construction. The meeting was attended by representatives of JSC “Fortum” - the Customer, the Plant management and the EPC-contractor – JSC “E4 Group”.

Currently, at Unit 10 the vacuum system is being commissioned, while the second stage of HRSG acceptance test has been completed. As of today, the major commissioning stages have been completed: the gas turbine has been fired, the generator has been synchronized to the grid, the first megawatts have been output. In the nearest time all the GT and ST operation modes will be tested. Reliability run of the Unit is scheduled for February 27, 2013.

In order to timely commission Units 20 and 30, the participants of the meeting reviewed the main milestones, as well as determined the time periods and stages for handing over the works for the nearest future.
