OREANDA-NEWS. Canadian company Valeant Pharmaceuticals International has purchased CJSC Natur Produkt International, which produces AntiGrippin flu treatments.

Valeant paid USD 163 million for the Russian company, it said in a press release.

The Renova group of companies, which manages the assets of Viktor Vekselberg and his partners, signed a deal to sell Natur Produkt to Valeant in March 2012. At the time the price of the company was said to be USD 180 million and that it could increase by USD 5 million, if Natur Produkt could reach the agreed revenue growth indicators by the time the deal was finalized (this was expected to happen in mid-2012).
