OREANDA-NEWS. February 2013, the Ministry of Finance made its first drawing and interest payment for this year to manage its debt to the International Monetary Fund.

Total amount payable has been 413.75 SDRs (special drawing rights) or USD 634.1 million, or UAH 5,068.6 million (at the NBU exchange rate).

The said public debt repayment and management expenditures are prescribed in the 2013 State Budget Law of Ukraine.

As provided by the Budget Schedule, next time International Monetary Fund liability payment is expected to be in May 2013.
