OREANDA-NEWS. Railway forces of the Eastern Military District will receive more than 110 new KAMAZ vehicles of various versions in 2013.

According to Aleksandr Gordeev, the head of the regional press-service, KAMAZ continues fulfilling the state defense order delivering new vehicles to the railway formations of the Eastern Military District located in Khabarovsk Krai and Amur Oblast. Earlier, the company delivered railway cranes and all-wheel drive vehicles KAMAZ-53501 there.

This year, the eastern borders of this country will receive dump trucks based on KAMAZ-6522 and bolster-type tractors KAMAZ-54112. In addition, the company plans to deliver high-sided vehicles on KAMAZ-5350 chassis with an armored cab (Defense Class 5) designed for crew transportation. The vehicle is equipped with a set of additional protection units securing a crew and internal equipment in the cab from high-explosive shells and hand grenade splinters.

Today, multipurpose KAMAZ army trucks excel similar vehicles produced both in Russia and abroad in their tactical and technical characteristics, achieved technical level, reliability and safety. With a flexible policy pursued by OJSC KAMAZ with respect to the RF Ministry of Defense, these advantages enable the company to build long-term plans of mutually beneficial cooperation to supply the Armed Forces of Russia with up-to-date vehicles.
