Wine of Lion Gri Company Awarded Gold Medal at Prodexpo-2013
OREANDA-NEWS. February 20, 2013. The Moldovan Cahors wine under the brand ‘Dobrodeteli’ produced by the company Lion Gri were awarded the Gold Medal at the 20th anniversary International Exhibition of Food, Beverages and Food Raw Materials – ProdExpo 2013, held in Moscow, the Russian Federation.
According to the deputy president of the Lion Gri company, Nelly Sonic, the above-mentioned wine, under the new brand ‘Dobrodeteli’ is specially produced for the company LaVina, which supplies quality wines to the Russian market.
"After a long-lasting break, our return to the Russian market has proven to be quite successful. Besides the Cabernet wine, the wine Merlo produced in 2006 by Lion Gri, in the series ‘Branded reserve’ and under the brand ‘Dobrodeteli’ also received a Gold Medal," said Sonic, noting that the wine Cabernet Sauvignon, produced in 2011, under the brand ‘Dobrodeteli’, was awarded a silver medal at the exhibition.
The manager of the company said that the LaVina enterprise has been working on this segment of the market for the past 15 years, supplying quality wines from Germany, France, Argentina, Australia and Moldova.
"Together, we started to promote Moldovan wines produced by Lion Gri, on the Russian market. We had worked together until the embargo imposed in 2006. Now, our partner has launched a project, within which the LaVina is widely promoting the wine brand ‘Dobrodeteli’ on the Russian market, where the best wines of the company Lion Gri are presented" said the manager of the company.
After a pause, the company Lion Gri has returned to the Russian market, being aware of its huge development potential. In 2012, the company received qualitative wine materials, from the grapes harvested from its vineyards, which cover an area of 1.4 thousand hectares.

The company’s assets are assessed at 60-80 million euros.
