FAS Makes Explanations on Some Kinds of Fuels
OREANDA-NEWS. February 19, 2013. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) would like to explain that the requirements for the motor and aviation gasoline, diesel and marine fuels, jet engine fuel and residual fuel (the Technical Regulations) were formalized in No.118 Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of 27th February 2008, with subsequent changes and additions repeatedly introduced to the document (1), reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.
On 18th October 2011, the Commission of the Customs Union passed No.826 decision adoption the Technical Regulations “On the Requirements for Motor and Aviation Gasoline, Diesel and Marine Fuels, Jet Engine Fuel and Residual Fuel”.
According to the normative acts, control (supervision) over execution of the Technical Regulations shall be exercised by the Federal Agency on Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rosstandard) and the Federal Service for Transport Supervision (Rostransnadzor).
Thus, FAS powers do not comprise devising and control (supervision) over execution of the Technical Regulations.
