A. D. Ruban Colliery Operated by SUEK-Kuzbass Launches New Longwall
OREANDA-NEWS. Oleg Kukushkin team — Terminal No.1, A. D. Ruban Colliery, SUEK-Kuzbass — began mining a new long wall (No.806).
This is the second mining face at the coal field of Polysayevsky seam 2 offering a 4.7 m minable thickness. The coal reserves amount to 2.9 mln tonnes.
The longwall is equipped with 130 upgraded mechanized supports DBT 2250/5500 (Germany). The face mining machinery also includes a high-performance ELECTRA-3000 shearer, a PF-4/1032 longwall conveyor, an ST PF-4/1132 handler, an SK 11/11 impact roll crusher. All the machinery comprising the mining system was manufactured by Deutsche Bergbau Technik (DBT).
Last year, mining the first longwall at Polysayevsky seam 2 proved that the machinery facilitates high efficiency operation. During 2012, Oleg Kukushkin team broke the Colliery's monthly production records four times. The best result was achieved in October — 520,000 tonnes. According to the results of the regional industrial competition dedicated to Miners' Day, formerly Krasnoyarskaya mine, now A. D. Ruban Colliery was recognized as the best coal mining operation of Kuzbass. On the whole, during the year, for the first time ever in the operation's history the well-organised team of face miners extracted 3,249,000 tonnes of coal.
