OREANDA-NEWS. In order to provide accommodation for the staff of Leningrad Power Plant and currently constructed replacement power facilities – LNPP-2 and A.P. Aleksandrov Atomic Energy Research Institute, an agreement was signed with the constructor of residential complex Zarechie – Holding TITAN-2. According to this document, 142 staff members of the plant will be able to purchase flats on vary favourable conditions. A large proportion of the new inhabitants of the residential complex will be power engineers, as well as employees of the Research Institute located in Sosnovy Bor.

First flat owners will move in already this spring. Currently 111 applications more were submitted for the second release of flats in the residential complex Zarechie, 90 more are being considered. The second release will comprise 679 more flats and is planned for June 2013. In total 1,207 flats will be commissioned, in 4 separate 18-storeys buildings. It will a modern and well-equipped residential accommodation, benefiting from full internal decoration and improved apartment planning.

Nearby lays a newly constructed pedestrian bridge, connecting the picturesque new residential area with the central Sosnovy Bor. The cost of this construction project is 34 million roubles. A municipal agreement for the construction of the pedestrian bridge was concluded with CONCERN TITAN-2 CJSC. Currently the object is being tested, in order to obtain a permit for pedestrian traffic. Very soon this safe and convenient engineering structure, with a span of over 160 meters, will be commissioned and opened for public use. The full completion of the project will be marked by landscaping and beautification works on the adjacent territories.

Concern Rosenergoatom OJSC developed and approved a comprehensive residential programme worth over 40 billion roubles, aiming to provide accommodation for its employees. It's planned to run through 2020 and will comprise a construction of 625 thousand square meters of new residential accommodation – that's more than 10 thousand new flats. Of which every fifth (more than 2 thousand flats) will be in Sosnovy Bor. The programme to provide accommodation to the employees of LNPP and LNPP-2 to be implemented over 2011-2015 was developed by the Concern already back in October 2011. It envisages a construction of several residential objects in Sosnovy Bor: in 4 Afanasieva str. (40 flats, right now the building is being decorated); in Solnechnaya str. (208 flats, the building is completed); in Parkovaya str. (90 flats, preparatory works are currently underway). Besides, with regards to a higher price of real estate in Sosnovy Bor, employees of LNPP and LNPP-2 will receive larger interest-free loans for their first down payment for the new flats – that's 800 thousand roubles. For other NPP this amount will be 600 thousand roubles.
