OREANDA-NEWS. Metropolitan scientists are developing projects related to renewable energy sources. This was reported by the chairman of board of JSC “Science fund” Kuatzhan Ualiyev at the report meeting in the Ministry of Education and Science of the RK.

“Prior to the international exhibition EXPO-2017 it is especially important. For example, today a project concerning the use of wind and solar power is being developed in Astana. Solar panels of French technology are being produced in the country,” - said K.Ualiyev.

Let us recall, that in the end of last year in Astana a photovoltaic modules manufacturing factory was started. At the place of production equipped with the most modern facilities, solar cell batteries will be manufactured on the base of 100% Kazakhstani silica. This is a fully integrated industrial line concerning producing of renewable energy sources.

Besides, “Science fund” supports young scientists of the capital. At the contest held in Astana in January, talented pupils represented their projects on the designing of sensory robots for the investigation of outer space, the use of solar energy at night and ecologically clean soap.
