SOCAR Paid already AZN 146.998 mn to State in 2013
OREANDA-NEWS. This January the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) lowered its transfers to the State Budget and the State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) versus December 2012. Last year Company’s overall payments to the state grew by 7.7% versus rise of 4.91% in 2011.
The SOCAR reports that in January 2013 it paid AZN 134.2 million that was by AZN 30.37 million (29.2%) more against January 2012.
The best index in 2012 was registered in December (AZN 137.1 million), in 2011 - in November (AZN 128.979 million), in 2010 – in December (AZN 191.929 million) and in 2009 – in December (AZN 532.56 million; it is also still a record figure in the SOCAR entire history).
"In January 2013 payments to the SSPF totaled AZN 12.767 million (+ AZN 320,000 or +2.6% versus January 2011),” it was reported.
The best transfer indices in 2012 were made in April (AZN 15.816 million), in 2011 in December (AZN 11.676 million), in 2010 in December (AZN 13.89 million) and in 2009 in December (AZN 11.96 million; also a record for 2009).
For 2012 tax payments to the State Budget made AZN 1.425 bn (+AZN 89.79 million or 6.7% versus the 2011 index), and SSPF budget AZN 157.5 million (+ AZN 22.99 million or 17.1%),” it was reported.
In 2011 the Company transferred AZN 1.335 bn (+72.345 million or +5.7% versus the 2010 same term) to the State Budget and AZN 134.5 million to the SSPF.
SOCAR’s transfer was AZN 1.26 billion to the State Budget and AZN 137.98 million to the SSPF in 2010 and AZN 1.468 billion and AZN 115.16 million respectively in 2009.
In January 2013 the SOCAR paid AZN 146.998 million to the state versus December 2012 (the 2012 best index for month).
In 2011 the best figure was recorded in September (AZN 155.01 million), in 2010 in December (AZN 205.8 million) and in 2009 in December (AZN 544.5 million; a record amount of payments).
Overall payments to the government in 2012 totaled AZN 1.58 bn.
Total payments to the state in 2011 reached AZN 1.469 bn against AZN 1.4 bn (USD 1.756 million) in 2010 and AZN 1.58 bn in 2009.
