OREANDA-NEWS. February 15, 2013. Prime Minister Mykola Azarov gave a commission to Minister of Education and Science, Youth and Sports to fulfill the task in enlargement of public order for training IT-specialists in educational institutions as in 2015 there can arise the need in 100 thousand qualified specialists at a minimum. He emphasized during a session of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

“I have already set a task to increase the public order for training specialists of IT-branch in our educational institutions. In case of preserving already existing speed of growth in 2015 there can be the need in 100 thousand qualified specialists for new workplaces at least,” Mykola Azarov explained and added, according to the EU plans by 2018 additional 700 thousand workplaces will be created for programmers.

“There is a logical question: at whose account and at the account of what countries? In our turn, we must create such conditions that our young people were not forced to go abroad or work on outsourcing contracts. I draw peculiar attention of the Minister of Education and Science, Youth and Sports Dmytro Tabachnyk,” the Premier told and stressed that transnational corporations are fighting for the best Ukrainian programmers being undergraduates.
