Please be informed that the Bank of Lithuania, identification code 188607684, having its registered office at Gedimino 6, LT-01103 Vilnius, the Republic of Lithuania (“Lithuanian Bank”) in accordance with Art. 76 of the Law on Banks of the Republic of Lithuania (the “Law on Banks”) announced a partial and temporal restriction on activities (the “Moratorium”) of AB Ukio bankas, identification code 112020136, having its registered office at Maironio 25, Kaunas, the Republic of Lithuania (“Ukio Bank”) and appointed Mr Adomas Azuolas Audickas as the temporary administrator of Ukio Bank (the “Temporary Administrator”) as well as informed Ukio Bank accordingly.

Temporarily (until the possibilities and methods to restore the activities of Ukio Bank are assessed) Ukio Bank will not provide any financial or other services. Branches and Client Service Units of Ukio Bank will be temporarily closed as well. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

In addition: (i) the powers of Ukio Bank’s Supervisory Council, Board and Heads of Administration are suspended and, when needed, are further exercised by the Temporary Administrator; (ii) the decisions of Ukio Bank’s shareholders will enter into force only with a prior written consent of the Temporary Administrator and Lithuanian Bank; (iii) no payments or asset transfers can be made by Ukio Bank, except for the payments necessary to ensure Ukio Bank’s activities during the Moratorium period (to the extent decided by the Temporary Administrator); (iv) any set-off of any claims of Ukio Bank and its clients are strictly prohibited; (v) all and any cases (including enforcement procedures and other legal processes) against Ukio Bank as the respondent (debtor) are suspended. The Temporary Administrator manages Ukio Bank and ensures prudent management and asset preservation of Ukio Bank.

Please be reminded that your deposits kept at Ukio Bank and other credit institutions are insured under the Law on Insurance of Deposits and Liabilities to Investors of the Republic of Lithuania. Pursuant to this law, deposits and funds at bank accounts of individuals and companies kept in Litas, US dollars, Euros and other national currencies of the member states of the European Union and European Economic Area up to the amount of LTL 345,280 (EUR 100,000) are insured by the State.
