OREANDA-NEWS. February 14, 2013. Please be kindly informed that as of February 2013 Swedbank AS will charge no maintenance fee for securities of Latvian companies currently under liquidation or in bankrupt the maintenance of which is not charged by the Latvian Central Depository. Changes will be reflected on the cash account linked with securities account in February 2013, reported the press-centre of Swedbank.

Impact on Clients: No maintenance fee will be charged for securities of Latvian companies, which are held and the Latvian Central Depository and are currently under liquidation or in bankrupt.

Please note:
No maintenance fee of securities account will be charged if client only holds securities of Latvian companies under liquidation or in bankrupt, i.e. there are no other Latvian and/ or other foreign companies’ securities on client’s securities account. After cancelling those securities in Latvian Central Depository maintenance fee of empty securities account will be applied according to effective Swedbank AS price list for transactions in securities.

If client holds in addition to securities of Latvian companies under liquidation or in bankrupt other Latvian and/or foreign securities maintenance fee of securities account will be applied for those securities according to effective Swedbank AS price list for transactions in securities.
