OREANDA-NEWS. Businessmen from the mining sector are getting together this week, from February 4-7, at the largest mining conference in the world, which is being held in Africa. Called Mining Indaba, the event is in its 19th year and annually brings together representatives from about 100 countries.

Vale, which is sponsoring the event, has a stand at the fair and is participating in two discussion panels to present its projects in Africa. This year, there are approximately 100 stands of different companies exhibiting their core businesses. It is expected that over 200 mining companies and more than 6 thousand visitors will be present and take part in the presentations and discussions.
