OREANDA-NEWS. February 12, 2013. The first meeting of the Board of Directors of "SRC Tatneft" chaired by Nail Ibragimov, First Deputy General Director for Operations - Chief Engineer of JSC TATNEFT, was held, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.        

The meeting discussed the budget proposals of the TATNEFT's Scientific and Research Center for 2013.

The Board of Directors reviewed the progress in the site selection, design project engineering and construction of the SRC.

The Board of Directors approved the Regulations on the composition and powers of the Scientific and Technical Council of "Tatneft SRC".

The participants of the meeting got familiarized with the first results of examining proposals of the "Skolkovo" energy efficient technologies cluster startups carried out under the Rules of interaction OOO "Tatneft SRC" with the other "Skolkovo" clusters.

The Board of Directors was briefed on the work organization of the project of developing the technology of re-using produced water for steam generation in extra-viscous oil production.

The meeting also discussed a number of other issues of the Scientific and Research Center activities.

In January 2013 the Scientific and Research Center of JSC TATNEFT was granted a participant status in the project of establishment and operation of the "Skolkovo" Innovation Center. An appropriate entry has been made in the register of the project participants according to the Federal Law "On the "Skolkovo" Innovation Center".

The SRC will carry out research in the fields of oil and gas production, oil and gas exploration, oil and gas processing, petrochemicals, IT and resource conservation. Appropriate technologies will include heavy oil fields development, environmentally oriented projects, effective management methods of intelligent fields' development, etc.

Innovative projects are planned for development in two clusters: energy efficiency and information technologies.
