OREANDA-NEWS. February 12, 2013. SME Bank (Vnesheconombank Group) and the Ministry of Economic Development of Karelia have signed a long-term cooperation agreement on SME support, reported the press-centre of SME Bank. 

The agreement purports improvement of SME support practice: ensuring affordability of credit resources and shaping a financial support system in the republic. The priority will be given to investment projects of SMEs in the real economy, modernization of public utilities and energy efficient projects.

Moreover the parties will provide information and consultancy support to SMEs and facilitate development of leasing and factoring companies, warranty funds and SME support foundations, business-incubators, technological parks, credit cooperatives and regional venture funds.
