Aeroflot Finally Got Permission for Boeing 777-300ER Flights
OREANDA-NEWS. Aeroflot has finally got the permission for new long-haul Boeing 777-300ER aircraft and immediately puts it into service. The air company received the long awaited green light from the Russian aviation authorities on February 04, 2013.
Russia’s largest air carrier took delivery of Boeing 777-300ER at Seattle manufacturing plant at the end of January 2012 and on February 05, 2013 at 20:40 (Moscow time) Aeroflot will celebrate the inaugural commercial flight of this aircraft on Moscow-Bangkok route.
Boeing 777-300ER newcomer to Aeroflot fleet is the first out of 16 aircraft ordered by the air company in 2011. According to Aeroflot Network expanding strategy, the forthcoming supplies will significantly strengthen the long-haul transport capacities, especially on international destinations. Aeroflot is planning to provide services on Boeing 777-300ER together with SkyTeam partners on international routes during Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games and World Football Cup 2018.
Boeing 777-300ER is considered to be one of the best twin-engine jet airliners in the world and is characterized by outstanding fuel efficiency, great salon space, long flight range and high reliability. New Boeing 777-300ER’s will allow Aeroflot to enhance the quality of on board service, matching the most sophisticated demands of its passengers. There will be three classes of service on board of Boeing 777-300ER aircraft — in addition to Business and Economy, Aeroflot is introducing Comfort (Premium Economy) class of service, providing more additional amenities for a reasonable price.
