MOESK Reconstructs Over 60 Facilities in Center of Moscow
OREANDA-NEWS. February 08, 2013. In 2012 the power engineers of the Moscow Cable Grids – branch of JSC "Moscow United Electric Grid Company" checked out the state of the energy facilities in the Central Administrative District. On basis of the analysis of the data received, the branch has formed the repair works program for 2013, at the regional and transformer substations, which are located on pedestrian zones and near them, reported the press-centre of MOESK.
Program has been constituted with 64 facilities, subjected to a reconstruction. MCG paid a special attention to the substation’s outward. According to the intention of the Executive Board of the Moscow Cable Grids, all the regional and transformer substations (RS and TS) will be repaired by such a way, to correspond maximally to the surrounding architectural space. It will make it possible to preserve a one-of-a-kind historical and unique architectural look of Moscow’s central regions.
Program of MCG was agreed in the Mayor's office and was approved by Deputy Mayor regarding the issues of housing and public utilities and municipal improvement Pyotr Biryukov. The power engineers of MCG plan to start the repair works upon a completion of the autumn and winter period and to accomplish them towards October of 2013.
In the current year the branch not only reconstructs the distribution points. According to the plans of the capital city’s government, the power engineers of the Moscow Cable Grids will provide the power supply of a local lightning, infrastructural facilities of several pedestrian zones in the capital city’s center. The same work on the living environment organization is also in store for other administrative districts of Moscow.
