Belarusian Vodka, Hard Liquor Output Increased 7.3% in 2012
OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus’ vodka and hard liquor output increased 7.3% on the year in January-December 2012 to 15.184 million decaliters, an official with Belarus’ National Statistics Committee told.
In December alone vodka and hard liquor output increased 0.6% on the year and 1.5% month on month.
As of January 1, 2012 inventories of vodka and hard liquor stood at 419,000 dal (33.1% of the average monthly output), down 69.2% on the month.
Vodka sales increased 0.7% on the year in January-December 2012 to 12.062 million decaliters.
